T'ai
Chi enables us to restore balance to our bodies and minds through
quiet, slow exercises. From a relaxed, balanced stance grows great
strength. Our classes are spent exercising and performing short
sequences based on movements from the 'form'. The form is a sequence
of movements and related breathing that tones every part of the
body, concentrates the mind and frees the spirit.
Leaving the pressures of life behind for an hour is very energising
and relaxing. Also, we have fun trying to achieve some grace of
movement! There are two classes for all levels where complete
beginners are welcome and one class for those who have already
practiced the art for some time. Do join us - we are all very
friendly.
