SHAKESPEARE COURSE


Do you wish to brush up your Shakespeare? Were you bored by the Bard?

‘Shakespeare the Working Playwright’ will be an exploration of some of Shakespeare’s plays in the light of his working environment and the conventions of his time.


On Thursday 8thOctober we shall visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre recreated on the Southbank in London for a behind-the-scenes tour, followed by a matinee performance of his romantic comedy ‘As You Like It’. Tickets are available at £30 for tour, play and coach inclusive. Book early to avoid disappointment (there are only 50 tickets) by ringing 01252 793672.


Shakespeare’s purpose was to entertain an audience. Often this gets forgotten. Come and enjoy yourself.
