There are no specific prerequisites, though familiarity with a typewriter keyboard will be helpful. The course covers the fundamentals of a computer using Microsoft Windows and includes operation of the keyboard, mouse and a printer. The student will learn about the basics of files, folders and programs, and then how to use the computer for Word Processing, the Internet and Email.
